Accredited Commercial Manager® (ACM®) certification from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) is awarded to managers of commercial real estate properties who have met the Institute’s rigorous requirements in the areas of professional education, examination and experience. Owen was recognized as the Boston Metropolitan Chapter 4 of the Institute of Real Estate Management's Accredited Commercial Manager of the Year for 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
The Public Housing Manager® (PHM) designation, from the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) was awarded to Owen Ahearn on September 2, 1994.

The Public Housing Manager (PHM) category began in the late 1970's in response to HUD originated and mandated management requirements. The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), established in 1933, is the professional membership organization representing housing and community development agencies, policymakers and practitioners throughout the United States. NAHRO members administer policies and programs primarily originating from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The overall NAHRO mission is to create affordable housing and safe communities that enhance the quality of life for all citizens.
OSHA - 30 Hour General Industry
Outreach Training Program

Owen Ahearn has received the 30 Hour General Industry OSHA card after successfully passing each of the twenty four (24) training modules, required by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). These modules are either one, two, or three hours in length, with content-specific quizzes at the end of each course.
